pride is the devil
When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
Proverbs 11:2
Elucidation, not condemnation.
That is the goal of this exposé.
I won’t lie, I was scared to release this article for obvious reasons.
Yet, I lean not on my own understanding.
Throughout this article we will be evaluating the connection between paganism and the modern day “pride” movements.
pagan pride

A few weeks ago while I was driving home, I noticed something odd. A huge banner streaking across the road.
“Pagan Pride Festival: August 21-23, 2023.”
We’ve all heard the conspiracies of a satanic, shadow government pushing a demonic agenda towards world domination.
But I ask…
Is the agenda really so secret anymore?
Nobody really knows who first used the term “Pagan Pride.” In name, it owes its origins to the Gay Pride movement, and certainly it is a term that reaches far beyond any single organization. There are rumors of single, local events using the name of Pagan Pride as early as 1992, though no documentation of these events has been found.
We can, however, safely identify and document the first organized movement to support and encourage public celebrations of Pagan Pride in communities all over the world — the Pagan Pride Project.
The history of the Pagan Pride Project starts with Cecylyna Brightsword’s — now Cecylyna Dewr — participation in the Pagan Awareness League, or PAL, the organization founded after the Witches’ League for Public Awareness eliminated their state representative program in 1997. During her time as a member of PAL, Cecylyna proposed a formal program to the PAL membership and director to facilitate celebrations of Pagan Pride on a local level to be called Pagan Pride Day.

For those of you who may be new here, understand that paganism is a satanic religion in direct opposition to the Bible.
There’s a reason why, throughout the scriptures, God repeatedly warns us not to adopt the customs of the pagan nations.
Paganism is based on worshiping the creature instead of the Creator, which in turn leads to rebellion against God and self-worship, or in other words…
Pride.

Therefore, one cannot actively support paganism and its various offshoots while claiming to believe in the scriptures!
For a brief intro to the concept of paganism, I recommend reading Cecylyna Brightsword’s article on Neo Paganism.

Next, we must evaluate the most mainstream and accepted aspect of the pride movement.
Think about it.
What group do we see the term pride most associated with?

Titles aside, these organizations have far more in common than one might think.
A simple skimming of the ancient mythos, specifically Greek and Egyptian, will make the correlation between paganism and the LQTBQ agenda, abundantly clear.
Atum: In the creation story for the Egyptian gods, the first deity, Atum, was both male and female, according to studies by researcher Mark Burstman. The ancestor to all self-produced two offspring, Shu and Tefnut, through either a sneeze or his own semen, and it wasn’t for a few generations that the archetypal male and female gods of Isis and Osiris were born.
Zeus: While a famous philanderer who sired countless demigods by every peasant girl in need of an explanation to her parents, Zeus famously selected the young mortal Ganymede to serve as his cupbearer on Mount Olympus. The relationship provided the foundation of the custom of paiderastia, the practice of Greek men at the time maintaining erotic relationships with adolescent boys on the side.
Shiva: The supreme god of Shaivism, Shiva has often been held as the ultimate embodiment of masculinity, but as far back as the Kushan era, there have also been depictions of Shiva in the Ardhanarishvara form, an androgynous composite of Shiva and his wife, Parvoti. The form originated when Parvoti, desiring to share Shiva’s experiences, asked for their forms to literally be joined. Most often, the Ardhanarishvara is depicted with the female form of Parvoti on the left and the masculine attributes of Shiva on the right.
Hermaphroditus: Perhaps the earliest literary reference to an intersex person concerns this child of Hermes and love goddess Aphrodite. The creature of both sexes was frequently depicted in classical art as a figure with womanly breasts and form but with male genitalia. His name is actually where we get the term “Hermaphrodite” from.

And these are just a few drops in the ocean of queer pagan gods.
In modern times, a great depiction of the connection between the LGTBQ and paganism is the marvel character of Loki.
The Loki TV show depicts the pagan intersex theme through the character of Sylvie, aka Lady Loki.
Speaking of Loki, if any of you are Percy Jackson fans, you may remember Alex Fierro, a “gender fluid” character who was introduced in the series as, you guessed it, a son of Loki.

Many people think the queer depictions of the ancient heroes and gods is just Hollyweird’s way of going “Woke” and pushing diversity.
However, this can not be further from the truth.
The pagan gods and goddesses have always had one foot in the closet, you just didn’t know it.

Finally, we must address perhaps the most important, and monstrous aspect of this three-headed satanic hydra…
Please note that a major component of paganism is the worship of the mother goddess and divine feminine.
From this single misunderstanding, a tree of dishonor has sprouted, bearing fruit of fatherless households and famous harlots.
Today, we refer to this phenomenon as feminism.
Modern Paganism attracts many because of its reverence for the Goddess or Goddesses. “Goddess Spirituality” is one of the fastest growing movements in American religious life today, and Paganism is a strong contributor to it.
Much contemporary Neo-Paganism contains a strong feminist perspective: many women came to this spiritual path through the women’s consciousness raising movement of the late 1960s and early 1970s, when communities of women began to search for and, in some cases, to create a woman-affirming spirituality.
Through experimentation as well as research into ancient mythology, women found that a connection with Goddess imagery was empowering and concretely helpful to their lives. In Pagan circles, they also found many opportunities for spiritual leadership.

Put simply, feminism has caused chaos and confusion throughout the world.
The God of the Bible is a God of order. He has a hierarchy.
First is The Most High, second is the man, third is the woman, and fourth is the child.
Feminism is just a modern spin on an old lie. Like the serpent, it seeks to disrupt God’s law by cutting out the middle MAN, and providing the woman with an alleged direct connection to God. Yet, many fail to realize that the “god” they are connecting to is a false one.
No, I’m not saying that women can’t have a connection with God, nor am I making the claim that men are superior to women. The issue has to do with rebellion.
And that my brothers, is the goal.

The rapid increase in divorce, abortion, and single parent households are repercussions of this mindset.
Feminism was simply a gateway drug meant to lead people down the road to paganism, and ultimately sin.

Before you cancel me.
No, I’m not saying that God doesn’t love gays, or that all trannys are going to hell.
Again, I did not write this article to condemn or lambaste anyone. We all fall short of the glory of God. I have no room to boast because I rely on His grace.
I simply wanted to show the correlation between the various pride organizations, and also the disconnect between these organizations and the Bible.
The narrow path vs a wide one.
Despite appearing unrelated on the surface, these organizations all have one common denominator…
Pride.
Pride in perversion.
Pride in rebellion.
Pride in sin.
Imagine this scenario: You’re sick, recently diagnosed with a terminal illness. Despite your deteriorating condition, you claim to be in perfect health. You then decide to attack anyone who is honest about your condition, including your doctor.
This is exactly what you are doing when you embrace pride and reject God.
Psalm 10:4 explains that the proud are so consumed with themselves that their thoughts are far from God: “In his pride the wicked does not seek him; in all his thoughts there is no room for God.”
This kind of haughty pride is the opposite of the spirit of humility that God seeks: “Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 5:3). The “poor in spirit” are those who recognize their utter spiritual bankruptcy and their inability to come to God aside from His divine grace.
The proud, on the other hand, are so blinded by their pride that they think they have no need of God or, worse, that God should accept them as they are because they deserve His acceptance.

Dear Negro,
If you remember nothing else, remember this…
Pride is the devil.
Bye chance.
